Our Journey
FRIENDS CLASSES began its humble yet powerful journey in 2004, founded by three visionary educators — Mr. Sudhakar S. Bhoir, Mr. Lahu G. Joshi, and Mr. Gurunath D. Patil. What started as a noble initiative to provide free tuition to underprivileged students in Nerul soon transformed into something much greater.
United by the belief that education is the key to empowerment, the founders started with a handful of students in modest classrooms, driven by passion and purpose. Their personal attention, unwavering integrity, and commitment to academic excellence quickly attracted students from across the community.
Over time, Friends Classes evolved into a full-fledged educational institute, expanding its offerings to include State Board, CBSE, ICSE, Junior College (Science & Commerce), and Professional Degree Courses. More than just academics, the institute became a nurturing space where students were guided, mentored, and inspired to dream big.
Today, Friends Classes is proud to have shaped the futures of thousands of students — many of whom now hold high-profile positions in India and abroad. Yet, despite this growth, the core mission remains the same: to make quality education accessible, meaningful, and transformative for every learner.
